So i’m back with the final blog post I think. Want to leave an update saying that I’ve implemented my script and have created my video.
What my script does is basically creates hands from a point of origin. It does this by using a selected joint and with a button click created multiple fingers and IKs to connect together in order to craete a working hand.
Finally, I did a video to show you my model and its finished features.
Overall, I really enjoyed this class. Creating a model that can move on all sorts of weird ways by itself without having to code all of it is amazing. From a coders stand point it saves so much time and it’s always been a step i’ve been fascinated with. Th missing link between steps and now I know.
Out of all my classes this year, this one seems to be the one I think I may go back to rather quickly as I really enjoyed it and what to create something better. I would say finding a good model is quite hard though.
